Looking for something to do before the game starts? Make your way to Gamecock Village – located in the grandstands of the State Fairgrounds (Just look for the huge video screen showing football games). Gamecock Village opens four hours before kickoff, and is free of charge. The Gamecock ISP Sports Network pregame show airs live from the stage at the Village beginning at 4 p.m. And this week, the South Carolina men’s basketball team will be on hand with a portable basketball court setup to shoot around with fans and sign autographs. The Gamecocks’ nationally-ranked women’s soccer team will be there as well, giving fans a chance to take their kicks into a net and receive autographs.
If you’re a student and you’re looking for something to do on gameday, make sure you stop by the Village – there’s some opportunities for students to get some pre-game entertainment (and free food!):
U.S. Army Free Tailgate
- Begins two hours prior to kickoff
Marine Corps Ultimate Gamer Competition
- Fans can win prizes while showing off their video gaming abilities
