In a meeting held on Friday, October 9, the University of South Carolina Gamecock Club Board of Directors unanimously approved a recommendation by Athletics Director Eric Hyman to not increase dues for the upcoming membership year.
“We appreciate the continued financial support and loyalty of Gamecock Nation,” said Hyman. “And we also recognize and understand the difficult economic times we are facing. I recommended, and the board agreed unanimously, that we should freeze our membership dues for the coming year to provide some relief to our valued supporters. We will continue to monitor the economic situation and take any future recommendations to the Gamecock Club Board of Directors for review at the appropriate time.”
Membership applications for the 2011 benefit year will be mailed in January 2010. If you’re interested in joining the Gamecock Club or are a current member and need to renew, visit the Gamecock Club’s website.
