Back by Popular Demand: The Rooster Crow

Since Saturday’s game vs Clemson is a non-conference affair and not subject to certain conference regulations, expect to hear a heavy dose of the famous Rooster Crow this weekend. The sound is definitely one of the things that makes Carolina unique and I’m looking forward to crowing along with it at the game!

Are you kidding me! Even as a Gamecock fan it is the most annoying thing I’ve heard at any stadium.

the Gamecock crow is one of the best home team features in college football. Crowing is part of what makes a Gamecock a Gamecock. How could any Carolina fan not like it? In fact, it being annoying (to the opposition) is one of the things that makes it so great! Real Gamecocks crow to intimidate and to proclaim victory. Keep crowing Gamecocks, keep crowing Williams-Brice. COCK A DOODLE DOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
